My story

“A child can teach an adult three things: to be happy for no reason, to always be busy with something, and to know how to demand with all his might that which he desires, Paulo Coelho”

I am a marketing communications professional with a great passion for golf, photography, Italian, social media and writing.

I spent big part of my childhood doing a lot of sports but it was already at the age of eight, when I got hooked by golf. After that golf has been an inseparable part of my life.

How did I become interested in international marketing? Why not accounting, medicine, law or politics? Why not a career as a professional golf player? Marketing, and especially the international part of it, felt like a natural choice that allowed me to combine and to take advantage of the several things I have a passion for and to use my creativity and innovativeness for business purposes. And then, over ten years ago, it happened – I fell in love with Italian language. I have always been eager to learn new languages but Italian had its own fascination. I didn’t only want to learn the language but I also wanted to learn to understand the Italian culture and lifestyle.

I admit that there was a time when I also dreamed of a career as a professional golf player. But, I was too eager to develop my skills in marketing and business and I realized that I could combine these two passions also in some other way. I didn’t need to become a professional golf player – I could play golf also at the amateur level and enjoy working with marketing at the same time.

I currently work as a marketing professional and follow with great interest the development of social media, digital marketing and the technological development of mobile solutions and different kind of software that create new possibilities for companies to market their products, services and business ideas – but also solutions that make the everyday living easier for everyone of us. That is why I also am eager to tell about them in my blog posts.
